My Best Advice for Genuine Smiles



To know the Kane's is to love them. Their family is such a blessing to many in the Columbus, OH area! They love people well and demonstrate what selfless love looks like - to their family and their community.

I loved working with this family to capture the sweet connection of their family. It's abundantly clear how much they all love each other! Another thing I loved was watching them parent - we can't expect kids to always want to take photos or want to sit still and smile for long. And that's okay - kids are kids!! Watching Rob & Danielle kindly and patiently correct their children and still have so much fun with them was a gift to me as a new mom.

Here's some of the best advice I can give to parents, too, for photo sessions. Your kids WILL behave like kids, and we can roll with it!! As long as you are patient, kind, and maintain a positive attitude toward photos, we can work together to play and get your kids on board. That's all I need from you - stay excited about photos and that's how we'll all have genuine smiles and fun during our session! Trust me and allow me to work with your kids and play games with them, and if they see you enjoying yourself too, they'll want to join in the fun!
