A few of my favorite things...
If you know me, you know I love running. And if you're reading this blog, then you know I also love photography ;)
So of course, what could be more fun than a photo session with an amazing local runner?!
Amy Haas (aka @raceacrossthestes on IG) is a running coach, a personal trainer, the founder of the online community Run with Aim (RWA), and she's on a mission to run a half marathon in all 50 states! (She's finished 45/50 if you're wondering). Her story has inspired many, and her desire to see the women's running community flourish is evident in her creation of RWA, which is "a virtual women’s running community for ALL runners – every age, every level, and every where" to help women stay accountable to goals, encourage one another, and complete different challenges.
I met Amy through Instagram as I was searching for local Columbus runners to be friends with and run with. She introduced me to a really fun group run with Columbus Running Company where we met in person for the first time! This photo session was born out of my desire to explore athlete photography, and as Amy's IG following and RWA community is steadily growing, to give her some material for her social media and website.
Documenting the joy in the people I photograph is always my goal - and her joy is radiating in these photos. She loves what she does and is grateful for her ability to inspire and coach others, which you can see and feel in these photos!

And she's getting married!!
I had the joy of spending time with her and Jared, her soon to be husband, for a photo session the day after they got engaged!
These two were so giddy and sweet, which is what makes engagement photo session soooo fun!
